International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme

International Baccalaureate Middle Year Program (IB MYP) is a part of International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum, ultimately leading to IB Diploma Programme (IB DP). There are over 5000 IB World schools globally and the numbers are increasing rapidly. In India there are 185 schools as on date.

IB courses are recognized for their research oriented and ever evolving learning approach. International Baccalaureate Diploma is highly recognized as an entry level requirement in the Under Graduate programmes by reputed global universities.

IB MYP

IB MYP curriculum is applicable for students in the age group of 11 to 16 years. IB MYP syllabus is woven around Six Global Contexts, which are considered as essential differentiating features.

IB DP

IB DP programme (Equivalent to grade 11 and 12) is internationally recognized qualification for higher education. It follows the same six themes as mentioned in IB MYP programme. IB DP course is applicable for students in the age group of 16-19 years. To clear the IB diploma programme, a candidate must comply with three core requirements, in addition to passing the subject examinations. These core requirements are,

  • Extended Essay (ES);
  • Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and
  • Creativity, Activity & Service (CAS).

Students will investigate the nature of language itself and the ways in which it shapes influenced by identity and culture. Approaches to study in the course are meant to be wide-ranging and can include literary theory, socio-linguistics, media studies and critical discourse analysis among others”.

C. IB DP English A Literature

What do they study?

Students will focus exclusively on literary texts, adopting a variety of approaches to textual criticism. Students explore the nature of literature, the aesthetic function of literary language and textuality. They explore the relationship between literature and the world that highlights the global issue in the context. Also, it relevance in the present context.

D. IB Theory of Knowledge

Theory of Knowledge is a core element in the IBDP course that requires a  mandatory passing result to acquire IB Diploma. The subject encourages  to question our own knowledge and help discover the truth within the knowledge through various perspectives allowing  students’ to develop their views on ‘Knowledge claims’ explore the issue in the knowledge. The course uses a combination of ways to know through the core (knowledge and knower) and optional themes (knowledge and technology, knowledge and language, knowledge and indigenous societies, knowledge and religion, knowledge and politics   without any particular order and it revolves around-

    • Exploration of ways of knowing through – Perception, reason, emotion, language.

      • Submission of application for admission using admission form available in our website. You may click the admission form to directly access it.
        • The form requires the student to provide information relating to their studies, email and phone number of the student and parent. This is to ensure that all the related people in the student’s learning journey are accessible and on the same page. We ensure that information related to the student shall be used only for the purpose of admission in our classes.
    • Step II
      • Once the admission application is received and accepted, we communicate a mutually agreed date for Free Demo Session (30 minutes) to evaluate the student’s current requirement. Based on the Demo class, the decision is taken on admission.
    • Stage III
      • Payment of fee:
        • We enroll students for minimum of 6 hours and maximum of 8 hours classes per month.
        • The standard rate per class ranges from US$ 15 to US$ 25 based. Specific fees to be finalised with the parent/ student prior to admission.
